Q. I'm having some issues with using the InterMapper web interface on the Iphone's Safari web browser. I have several users reporting issues where certain maps will not display properly. Instead, a ? will appear in the upper left hand corner for maps that don't work.

A. Safari on the iPhone cannot display images larger than 2 megapixels. That is, the width x height of the image must be less than 2 * 1024 * 1024. If the image is larger than this, you will see the background rectangle of the correct size, but the transparent foreground image appears as a question mark in the upper left corner.
